Mono-ski description:  The mono ski is designed to be used by a person who sits to ski using hand-held outriggers, and seeks to ski independently.

Typical student:  Fully cognitive, with good upper body strength and coordination.

Disabilities:  Spinal cord injury (typically T-4 and below), amputation and other ambulatory issues.

Age: 12+ 

Weight limit:  Mono-skis are rated by the manufacturer for a maximum skier weight of 225 lbs. Skiers may not exceed this weight.
